Super easy to make. Beautiful presentation and quite yummy paired with our Moon light.

Almond Vanilla Cake
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup ground almonds
½ vanilla bean- seeded or 1 T vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup melted butter
2 cup eggs
2/3 cup flour

Spray or butter a 8x8" cake pan. Melt butter. Combine brown sugar, vanilla seeds, almonds, and mix lightly. Add in melted butter, mix well. Add eggs, mix. Fold in flour. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degree. Allow to cool. Serve with seasonal compote.
