Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Chocolate Raspberry Brownies Ingredients:
1 ½ cup oz. butter
8 oz. chocolate chips - semi-sweet chocolate chips
(you will need one 12 oz. bag chocolate chips total)
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¼ cup sugar or maple syrup
1 ¾ all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 small container raspberries - about 2 cups

Preparation:
Oven 350 degrees. Prepare an 8 in. square pan by brushing the sides and bottom of the pan with butter, then dusting with flour. Tap excess flour out. Set aside. Melt butter and 8 oz. chocolate chips in sauce pan over low heat, stirring to incorporate until melted. Set aside. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla until well blended and thick. Next, add chocolate mixture slowly, mixing as you go. In a small bowl, mix all-purpose flour and baking powder. Add to egg mixture and stir until smooth. Fold in 1 cup raspberries and half the remaining chips. Pour into prepared baking dish, then sprinkle the remaining berries and chips around the top. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Let cool and serve.
