Savory Swiss Steak
This is a great winter meal!
Savory Swiss SteakIngredients:
3 medium sweet yellow onions – sliced thin
Preheat large stew pot and add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Brown the steak on each side, adding more olive oil as needed. Brown steak strips in batches. Don’t overcrowd the pan.
When browning is complete, place all the steak in the bottom of the stew pot and add sliced onions, mushrooms, horseradish and worcestershire sauce.
Cover and simmer on low for approximately two hours, stirring occasionally. Use additional salt and pepper as needed.
