Kunde Estate: Events
Dunfillan Ruins
One of the most unique venues in all of wine country, the
stone ruins of the Dunfillan Winery are set in a beautiful,
secluded five-acre meadow surrounded by scenic vineyards,
mountain views, and majestic oak trees. Built in the late
1800’s by winemaking pioneer John Drummond, the Dunfillan
Winery site is where California’s first varietally
labeled Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted and bottled. Perfect
for large events, the interior of the ruins can be transformed
into a dramatic dining experience, while the surrounding
meadow makes a stunning setting for additional entertainment.
Maximum Capacity:
250 people
Restrictions:
No hard alcohol, no smoking, no guest
parking (Guests park in our winery parking lot and are
shuttled back and forth to the ruins.)
Special Site Notes:
Site does not have electricity,
running water, or restroom facilities. These items need
to be brought in for each event.
