Winemaker's Comments
" You need a red wine that is different. Sure, Cabernet is great for grilled steaks; Pinot Noir is light enough to pair with salmon, but where do you go for a wine that can be at home with red meat, a roasted chicken, or pasta with sauteed vegetables and fresh-grated romano? You've come to the right place because we have your answer. Kunde Estate 2002 Syrah is a red wine that's hearty, without all the tannin of Cabernet, versatile for many foods, and filled with berry fruit and spice balanced by a floral quality that is just, well, different from the rest. It will make you sit up and take notice."
