This is a special one just for our Wine Club members! It’s expressive and bold and layered with a rich meld of plum, cocoa, rosemary and star anise aromas. Flavors of blackberry, cassis and a hint of white pepper showcase the complexity of this variety. The wine’s intensity is matched by its finesse of acid and complex structure.
Winemaker’s Comments: “As one of the 5 famed Bourdeaux varieties, Cabernet Franc is a wine of historic significance. I truly enjoy opening a bottle because this grape, more than Cabernet Sauvignon, expresses the climate it came from - ranging from bright and spicy to rich and ripe. I am quite pleased to offer you a Kunde expression from the iron rich soils and hillsides of this fine
estate - a terroir which lends the fruit great balance. I prefer my Cabernet Franc with lamb, but you be the judge!”
