Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

A different twist on decadent brownies - add fresh raspberries!

Chocolate Raspberry BrowniesIngredients:
  • 3/4 cups butter
  • 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips - divided
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups raspberries – divided
Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 8 inch pan. Melt butter with 8 oz chocolate chips in sauce pan over low heat, stirring well until melted and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, vanilla and sugar until well blended and thick. Add melted chocolate slowly, mixing to incorporate.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and add to egg/chocolate mixture, stirring until smooth. Fold in 1 cup raspberries and half the remaining chocolate chips. Pour into prepared baking dish, then sprinkle the remaining berries and chocolate chips around the top. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and serve. Serves 10-12.
